I've been getting into the crafty side of art recently, so the past couple of nights I've spent making paper people!
Kaitou KID and my Case Closed OC, Hanabi, to be specific.
Aren't they adorable? They make me squee. <3
Also, thanks to Kaitou, I'm trying to learn some card tricks. It's quite an undertaking, seeing as I can't even shuffle a deck properly.
I have also decided that if I could only watch one anime or read one manga for the rest of my life, it would be Case Closed. While there are other stories that I also love, this one goes on for like... ever. I don't know if I could ever get bored of it.
Thankfully, nobody's limiting me to one, so I can have Lovely Complex and Kimi Ni Todoke and Ouran and Naruto (for Rock Lee, of course).
I picked up this manga volume from the library called "The Palette of 12 Secret Colors." It's kind of simple, but I really like the cover. I'll have to see if I can find any more volumes.
Sometimes, I think I'm growing out of my "anime geek" stage, especially when I realize I like other things than Japanese stuff too, like Doctor Who or Teen Titans.
But then I just don't find other stuff quite as appealing, in general. I just really like anime and manga for some reason. Maybe it's the artistic effort involved or something about the way the story is told. I don't know. But whatever.
I thank God for anime and manga and cool characters I can geek out about. x3
